Product Description
The Q57MX is a long-life compact industrial motherboard supporting the newest Intel processors, while still providing a solid migration path for legacy users. The Q57MX motherboard was designed specifically for performance intensive embedded applications where space is at a premium and a small form factor design is required.
This is our fastest mATX board to date, engineered to take advantage of some of the fastest processors currently available. However even with this smaller for factor, we've designed in excellent legacy support for a solid upgrade path. We’ve not only included onboard RAID 0/1/5/10 support, but we added something more, a second set of ports supporting driverless hardware RAID 0/1. Now any OS (even DOS or QNX) can be on a mirrored or striped array for performance or redundancy. Combine that with dual Gigabit Ethernet, and dual DVI video outputs and you’ve got one powerful, compact computer system. Multiple I/O options also make this one of our most flexible mATX boards ever produced. Two different PCI-E slots and (2) PCI expansion slots, (4) serial ports, (1) parallel port, and (14) USB ports provide ample support for peripherals in a time where extensive expansion capabilities are becoming extremely rare, particularly on compact, high-performance motherboards.
