Product Description
The Gator EPIC is a low-power, mid-size single board computer (SBC) based on the EPIC (Embedded Platform for Industrial Computing) form factor. The board measures a compact 4.5”x 6.5”, ideal for deeply embedded computing applications. Its low-profile design also allows proper clearance for 1U rack-mount chassis and other low profile cases. The Gator EPIC is powered by an Intel® LV Pentium® M and ULV Celeron® M processors, allowing high performance with low thermals. The Intel® 855GME chipset provides a 400MHz front side bus, support for 1GB of DDR333/266 memory via an SODIMM slot, on board Intel® Extreme Graphics 2, PC/104-Plus expansion, Serial ATA (150MB/s) and a Mini-PCI slot for add-on cards and peripherals. Standard features include: onboard 10/100 and 10/1000/1000 ethernet options, Four (4) RS232 serial ports, one (1) factory configurable to RS422/RS485, a 44-pin connector for hard disks or flash memory modules, six (6) USB 2.0 port headers, parallel port header and a mouse/keyboard header.
